La Azulita Town

La Azulita is a quiet Andean town, with a pleasant climate, landscapes where flowers abound and countless streams that later become rivers. It stands out for its great variety of birds that have managed to place it as the second bird corridor in the world. It was founded in 1826, and its original name was Hoyada de los Molinillos. 💡Curiosities: Its patron saint festivities are celebrated on December 8, in honor of the Virgin Immaculate Conception who gives the name to its church, which is considered the second most important in the state.
